I'd now like to welcome Heidi Kneale as our Fan Guest of Honour. She's been a fan for many a year, and is knowledgeable about many unique subjects. Her fandom also as a nicely international feel with her background in US fandom.

Guest of Honour Announced

Wasteland moves ahead in leaps and bounds...
I'd like to welcome our Guest of Honour, and thank him profusely:
Welcome Sean Williams.

Sean is a great person to have around at a con, as any of you who have met him will agree. He also bring a writing career which includes several appropriately themed books.

(I'm currently up to the last part of the "Books of the Chosen" which is post-apocalypse styled fantasy. Go and buy it now! Very readable and enjoyable)

The Convention is confirmed for the 9th and 10th of October at the Emerald Hotel.
